No sabría deciros cuántas veces he hecho lo posible por ir a Londres, ni por qué cada vez que consigo ahorrar un poco no dudo en que éste sea mi destino (vale, lo admito: París también está en la lista). Nunca he sabido contestar al: "¡¿Otra vez Londres?! ¿Pero qué problema tienes? ¡Será por ciudades!". Pues será, pero cuando se me mete entre ceja y ceja, hay poco que hacer...
I can't say how many times I've done everything I could to go to London. I can't say why is this my favorite place to go everytime I can go on a trip (Ok, I should admit that Paris is also on my list). I've never known how to respond to the boooothering question: "London again?! Whaaaat is your problem? There are lots of cities to see!". Yes, there are, but when it comes to London, there's nothing I can do to help it...
Me encanta Notting Hill, perderme por sus calles, sus idíilicas casas, y sus colores. Pasamos la tarde del primer día recorriendo el mercadillo de Portobello, y todas las tiendas vintage y anticuarios de Portobello Road. Luego, Kensington gardens, su lago y sus cisnes. Lo mejor de todo fue el tiempazo que nos hizo, gracias al cual pudimos disfrutar del paseo sin abrigo alguno. ¡Todo un lujo de marzo londinense!
I love Notting Hill: loosing myself through its streets, wonderfull houses, and colors. We spent first day's afternoon at the Portobello Market and all the vintage stores in Portobello Road. After, we went to the Kensington gardens, to see its lake and swans. I must say that the best of all was the great weather we had, thanks to which we could enjoy our walk without wearing any coat! Lucky us, I know!

La mañana de domingo fue de mercadillos. Spitalfields y Brick Lane de arriba a abajo. Destaco el SundayUp Market y todos los mercadillos vintage en la zona. Me encantan.

La tercera mañana la pasamos alrededor del Támesis. Las fotos son, concretamente, en el puente de Londres. Justo al lado está la Torre de Londres, uno de los puntos turísticos que más me gustan por la de historias que trae consigo. Mi favorita, cómo no, la de los cuervos: dice la tradición que si algún día se van los seis cuervos que hay en la torre, ésta caerá, y con ella, la Corona británica. ¡Ahí es nada! Se toman precauciones constantes con ellos, como cortarles las plumas de las alas para que no puedan irse muy lejos si les da por echar a volar... El cuervo García se quedaría ahí sin problema, vaya, si es que los tienen fatal educados... :)

Right next is the Tower of London, one of the most important tourism spots of the city because of the stories and the history it has behind. My favorite of those stories is the one about the ravens that live inside the fortress: there are six of them, and it's said that if they leave the tower, british monarchy will fall apart. One of the things that beefeaters (guards of the tower) do to keep on having them is cutting off the pens of their wings so they can't fly away... El cuervo García ("cuervo" is "raven" in english) would stay there without aaaany problem! tss, those ravens are very rude... :)

Camden Town es siempre visita obligatoria. Las fotos las hicimos en el canal que hay junto al Camden Lock. ¡El vestido podréis verlo un poco mejor en próximas entradas! Fue mi "amor a primera vista" de Forever21... En cuanto al bolso tipo satchel amarillo, lo encontré en el H&M de Camden después de haber estado llorando en cada escaparate por el Cambridge Satchel en tonos fluor y, oye, como que cumple las funciones. ¡Al menos de momento!

It was my love-at-first-sight in Forever21... About the Satchel-style bag, I found it at an H&M store in Camden after being for a long time "crying" for the Cambridge Satchel bag in Neon edition... Well, this one works for me, at least for the moment!
