Amsterdam, where canals replace roads and buildings look like fairytale houses...
Día uno. Aterrizamos en Amsterdam a las 10 de la mañana, y después localizar el hotel y dejar las maletas, empezamos a descubrir la ciudad. Dedicamos todo el día a perdernos por sus canales, visitar el famoso Barrio Rojo, y a hacer un par de paradas en tiendas vintage y de segunda mano, tan abundantes en la ciudad. Quiero destacar el original restaurante Moeders (justo debajo de los tulipanes), el lugar perfecto para disfrutar de la típica comida holandesa; los muebles y la decoración son de lo más especiales: está íntegramente dedicado a la figura de las madres, siendo ellas las protagonistas de todas las paredes. ¡Muuy kitsch!
Day one. We landed in Amsterdam at 10 am, and after leaving the baggage at the hotel, we started to discover the city. We dedicated the day loosing ourselves through their canals, visiting the Red Light District, and making some stops at vintage and second-hand stores. Also, I want to introduce you my fav restaurant there: Moeders, the best place to eat typical dutch food; forniture and decorations are so special: everything is dedicated to mothers, they are protagonists on their walls. Sooo kistch!

Día dos. Seguimos paseando, mezclando el turismo más básico de la ciudad con lugares más escondidos. Después de pasar por las calles de tiendas de más caché, encontramos el tipo de tiendas que íbamos buscando y que no podemos encontrar en Madrid si no es por Internet (Monki, Forever21, River Island...). En nuestra búsqueda dimos con una tienda estilo vintage llamada PS (Petit Salon, Oude Spiegelstraat 10, Ámsterdam), donde puedes encontrar de todo en lo que a ropa se refiere: Chanel, Lanvin, Louboutin, Margela... ¡Y a muy buenos precios! Por otro lado, también nos encantó Athenaeum, una librería/kiosco en una de las esquinas de la plaza Spui; si buscas cualquier revista o libro especial ¡seguro que lo encuentras ahí! Además, en esa misma plaza se encuentra el café Esprit, donde poder tomar el típico brunch a media mañana.
Day two. We kept walking around the city, mixing typical turism with places more hidden. I loved to visit those stores I can't find here in Madrid, such as Monki, Forever21, River Island... In our pursuit we found a vintage shop called PS (Petit Salon, Oude Spiegelstraat 10, Amsterdam), where you can find haute couture clothes (Chanel, Lanvin, Louboutin, Margela...) in such good prices! We also loved Athenaeum, a beautiful book shop placed at the Spui square; if you're looking for any magazin or special book, I bet you find it here! In that square is the Esprit Coffee, a great place to have typical midday brunch.
